Science Should Be Open
For too long, valuable oceanographic data has been siloed in private servers or behind academic paywalls. We are changing that. Starting today, researchers worldwide can access our raw and processed data via a public API.
What's Available?
The initial data release includes:
- High-Res Bathymetry: 50cm resolution maps of 12 key reef sites.
- Temperature Logs: Continuous thermal data from 2023-2025 at varying depths.
- Biodiversity Index: The complete catalog of our AI-identified species encounters.
"By opening our data, we invite the world to help us solve the puzzles of the Red Sea. A researcher in Brazil might spot a pattern in our thermal logs that we missed. That's the power of open science."
